Standard Limited Warranty
THIS WARRANTY IS FOR THE ORIGINAL CUSTOMER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. Mac2Mac Online (M2M) warrants to the customer that the products we sell shall be free from defects, unless otherwise stated at time of sale, for the period of 30 days from the date the customer receives the product. During the warranty period, M2M will correct any defects and/or failure of the item to conform to the description of the item at the time of sale/repair. Warranty repairs will be performed at the M2M repair facility in Chico, California or at a designated M2M Service Center, whichever is deemed most cost-effective by M2M. The customer is responsible for shipping costs when returning product for repair and M2M will pay return shipping costs back to the customer. The customer is responsible for using original or comparable packaging. Any Replacement Parts shall be new or serviceably used, and are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or thirty (30) days from the date the customer receives the repaired product back, whichever is longer. This warranty period is not extended as a result of purchasing any additional parts/products from M2M or upgrading a M2M product. The customer must promptly notify M2M if there is a defect in material or workmanship. M2M must receive notice of all events before expiration of the warranty period.
Return Policy
For customers who purchased products directly from M2M via the website, eBay, telephone sales or any other method, customer may return defective or malfunctioning products to up to 30 days from the date of receipt for repair, replacement or refund. If refund is requested, M2M will not include any return shipping or handling charges but will include the original shipping charges to customer. If the products were purchased from M2M under a written agreement or contract with M2M there may be different terms for the return of products under said policy. To return products, call M2M Sales Support (530-896-0490 or 800-951-9868) to receive a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number, please have your original order number ready. Products must be returned to M2M in their original packaging (or comparable packaging). This return policy is for defective or malfunctioning products only, if your product is returned for any other reason the customer is subject to a 20% restocking fee and is responsible for original shipping fees as well as return shipping fees. IMPORTANT: If the RMA number is not written on the outside of the box the shipment will be rejected in shipping/receiving and returned to sender.
Terms of Limited Warranties
Any claims under the Limited Warranty or 30-day Replacement Parts Limited Warranty must be made before the end of the applicable warranty period. During such period, M2M will, at its option, repair or replace any part covered by the Limited Warranty or the 30-day Replacement Parts Limited Warranty which is determined by M2M to be defective in materials or workmanship; or provide a credit or refund, whichever the customer requests.
During the warranty period, M2M will repair any defects in material or workmanship, or any failure of the product to conform to the condition of the product at the time of sale. Warranty repairs will be performed at the M2M repair facility in Chico, California or at a designated M2M Service Center, as applicable.
M2M reserves the right to substitute functionally equivalent new or used parts. M2M’s responsibility is limited to repair, replacement, credit, or refund, any of which may be selected by M2M at its sole discretion.
The Limited Warranty and the 30-day Replacement Parts Limited Warranty cover only hardware defects arising under normal use and do not include malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, problems with electrical power, usage not in accordance with product instructions, use of incompatible devices or accessories, improper or insufficient ventilation, acts of nature or improper installation. Repairs necessitated by software problems or repairs made by anyone other than a M2M authorized third-party service provider or the purchaser without the assistance of technical support from M2M will render the warranty null and void. If any "Warranty Void" stickers are removed this warranty is null and void.
Warranty Limitations
EXCEPT AS SET FORTH HEREIN, M2M MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND M2M DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND CONFORMITY TO MODELS OR SAMPLES.
The warranties set forth herein provide the customer specific legal rights. The customer may have other rights, which vary from state to state. In no event shall M2M be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages caused by said product. No variation or exception in the terms stated herein can be made without the written authorization of M2M. These limited warranties apply to all of M2M customers worldwide.
